Large open areas beside the Wongungarra River downstream from the Crooked River junction. If Talbotville is full on a busy weekend this section downstream is a short drive.
There are several 'football' size areas. On the southern end of one of them (close to the main track) there is a river crossing which leads for a few hundred meters to a dead end open area which can fit around 6 vehicles. Great campsite so don't tell anyone.
All this area of the Crooked River Track is private land. The owner doesn't mind as long as you respect his cattle & the environment.
