Just South of Queenstown just off Mount Jukes Rd with Great panoramic views of the lake surrounded by sharp mountains. We stayed here for 1 night, right on the water and never saw a single person. Wouldnt advise pitching a tent as the ground was compact with lots of little rocks but we used our rooftop tent and you could bring a caravan or camper. theres a pit toilet and a shed with picnic tables in it. There was signs for fishing compitions so I'd say it can get busy. also there is wind break walls where they expect you to pitch a tent but I wouldnt recommend them.
