Newnes Campground
Campsite Description
This is a great campsite, under some quite impressive sandstone cliffs.
Right out the end of Wolgan Road, down on the Wolgan River.
Toilettes and firepits, or the old Newnes Hotel is just up the road. Small river crossing at the end, ok in most weather for 2WDs.
Go for a walk down the river into the impressive Wolgan Valley. See historic ruins from the earlier mining days. Walk the pipeline track to Glen Davis.
