Dog leg (north palmer river camp site)has plenty of flat ground with camp spots near the water. You will find plenty of water in the river. This camp site is now under the control of the national parks and is therefor paid camping. It is the only camping allowed in the reserve.After crossing the river you can see that the camp site is sign posted. It is only a couple of k to the historical Maytown from the camp area. Camping fees must be paid online at the national parks website.
