Wattle Flat
Campsite Description
Located 3km along Wattle flat Road which is signposted off Loop Road. From the y-junction on Point Lookout Road, follow Loop Road for 14.4km, to sign posted Wattle Flat Road. NB: Due to pot holes and low lying areas, Loop Road is 4WD Only. Possible for some AWD in dry weather Only.
The river is stocked full of trout and there is a trout hatchery about 12 clicks up the river from the campsite.
Remember to carry a fishing licence and find out when the state trout fishing season is.
