The Subaru 4WD Club of Victoria Inc., was formed in 1976 by a group of enthusiastic Subaru owners as a not for profit social club to provide a forum for fun, family based, 4WD touring, camping and associated activities.

Today the Subaru 4WD Club of Victoria Inc., has expanded to include, not only owners of Subarus, but also the owners of all other 4WD vehicles, who collectively wish to participate in exploration of the Australia countryside without causing damage to the environment, the vehicle, or the individual.

The 4WD Subaru 4WD Club of Victoria Inc., actively encourage people with non-Subaru vehicles to become members, especially owners of smaller 4WD's and "crossover"
or softroader vehicles.
